Summer term 2013 program

The SEG Student Chapter Munich is pleased to announce the summer term 2013 program. We invited four speakers to talk about regional mineral commodities (graphite and tungsten), international iron ore (BIFs in Australia), and anthropogenic Pb-Zn sources in waste combustion slags. The first 2 talks were held on tuesdays, 5:15 PM at the TUM, Lehrstuhl für Ingenieurgeologie, room 2408 on May 14th and June 5th. The 3rd talk is on July 4th in room 3404. The location of the talk on friday, July 12th will be announced soon. We will also organize field trips on various topics such as tungsten, lead-zinc, fluviatile sand & gravel, and clay deposits close to Munich and Landshut, and in Austria.

The tungsten talk originally planed for June has been post-poned to July 4th! The location changed to room 3404 in the Lehrstuhl für Ingenieurgeologie, 3rd floor-
